Practical Information

The Museum is open every day from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM during exhibition periods. Late-night opening on Wednesdays until 10:00 PM.

The visit to the permanent collection and the temporary exhibitions lasts approximately 2 hours.

No, however, given the circumstances, it is strongly recommended to wear one.

No, any exit from the museum is final; each entry ticket is for single use.

Yes, you can purchase your ticket at the museum ticket office, subject to availability.
The ticket office is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and until 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Please note that on busy days—especially weekends—the museum ticket office may close at 5:00 p.m. due to limited remaining tickets.

The following categories are eligible for reduced rates:

  • Youth (6 - 25 years old)
  • European Youth Card holders
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Job seekers
  • Pass Éducation*: €14.50

*Upon presentation of valid proof.

 

The following partner members are eligible for reduced rates (upon presentation of a valid membership card):

No, the ticket is combined for visiting both the permanent collections and the temporary exhibition.

Yes, a free cloakroom is available at the museum entrance.
Lockers and hangers are provided. Cabin-sized suitcases are accepted.
Large suitcases and other bulky items cannot be stored.

Yes, the shop is accessible independently from the Museum.

No, animals are not permitted within the Museum premises.

The Musée Maillol houses the Café des frères Prévert. Food service is not currently available there.

No, eating or picnicking is not allowed inside the museum.

No, reservations are not possible at the Café des frères Prévert.

Photos are permitted in the museum but without flash.

The bus lines serving the museum are lines 63, 68, 69, 83, 84, 94, 95.


A Vélib' station is also nearby, opposite 28 Boulevard Raspail.

The Musée Maillol does not have its own parking. However, several parking facilities are located nearby:

 

  • Bac Montalembert parking at 9 rue Montalembert 75007
  • Invalides parking opposite 23 rue de Constantine 75007
  • Saints-Pères parking opposite 54 rue Jacob 75006

Yes, the museum is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
The entrance is through 59 rue de Grenelle, green carriage gate, by ringing the intercom labeled "Security Guard". Wheelchairs are available upon request at the museum ticket office (in exchange for an ID).
An elevator provides access to all floors.

No, strollers must be left at the cloakroom. Moving through exhibition spaces with a stroller is not permitted. Please bring a baby carrier if needed.

Free audioguide available via mobile app or a device can be rented on site.

Audio guides are available in 2 languages for the temporary exhibition (French, English).

Groups and school visits

Groups of at least 15 people benefit from this rate.

Yes, tickets purchased in advance allow priority access.

Subject to availability, we can help you change the date and/or time of your ticket. Contact us for this via contact@museemaillol.com or at +33 1 42 22 59 58.

It's preferable to arrive at the time indicated on your ticket. However, if you arrive earlier or later, our staff will welcome you within the capacity limits of the exhibition space.

 

If you've booked during the last time slot of the day, we recommend arriving on time to have sufficient time to visit the entire exhibition.

If you arrive earlier or later, our staff will be happy to welcome you within the exhibition space's capacity limits.

No. Tickets must be printed at home. They cannot be collected on-site on the day of your visit, and you cannot access the museum without these printed tickets. The order confirmation cannot under any circumstances serve as an entry ticket. You may also present your ticket on your smartphone. Our staff will be able to scan them.

No, tickets are non-refundable.
