The Dina Vierny Foundation - Musée Maillol: Three Decades of History
On January 20, 1995, the work of a lifetime finally bore fruit: at 59/61 Rue de Grenelle, Dina Vierny opened the doors of the Musée Maillol, offering the public a place dedicated to the work and memory of the sculptor. Since then, the museum has had the pleasure of preserving and sharing its rich collection of Aristide Maillol's works, as well as hosting numerous temporary exhibitions dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
On the occasion of this anniversary, the Dina Vierny Foundation - Musée Maillol invites you to embark on a journey through time with a retrospective article recounting the museum's various actions to defend, study, and promote Maillol's work. The article highlights the exhibitions dedicated to the sculptor that the museum has helped organize, as well as its most prestigious acquisitions since its opening.
