The exhibition “The World of Steve McCurry ” presents, for the first time in Paris, more than 150 photographs printed in large format, and is the most comprehensive retrospective dedicated to the American photographer. Visitors have the opportunity to admire his most famous photographs, most recent images, and a selection of previously unseen images all captured over the course of Curry’s 40 year long career.

Each of Steve McCurry’s images, most of which are internationally infamous, contains a complex universe of experience and emotion.

The exhibition, designed by Biba Giacchetti, takes visitors on a long journey through Steve McCurry’s world, from Afghanistan to India, South-East Asia to Africa, Cuba to the United States, and from Brazil to Italy, through his vast and fascinating repertoire of images, in which the humanis the central subject, even when only evoked or visually referenced.
